Sims Freeplay- The Mysterious Island Quest

Today I will take you through the different stages of a fairly important quest The Mysterious Island Quest. How to get past the Mysterious Island Quest? Its a 10 step walkthrough to achieve it. Although the prize you unlock is just a statue called Island Sentinal Replica which really useless if you ask me

To complete this quest I got close to 3 days. Time taken in the following tasks take varied amount of times depending upon the level you are on and the star rating of equipments you are using to complete the task. Higher the star rating lesser is the time required to complete.

Step 1 Watch the news. 

There's a story on TV about a new island that's been discovered off the coast of Sim Towm! Check it out! Watch the news on TV.

This is a straightforward task and don't take much of time. Just send any sim in need of entertainment and watch the news.

Step 2 Find the Mysterious Island on Globe

They say the new island is going to be the perfect place to build HOUSEBOATS. How exciting!

Note: The World Globe can be found in the decoration section of Home Store.

Its a ugly huge globe taking up a lot of space in my already small room to block the movement. But you got to do it. Looks something like below in the photo. under Home Store->Furniture-> Decorations

Step 3 Download Schematics on a Computer

Just find a computer and waste some time over the task. I think it will be 10 minutes task  give or take some.

Step 4 Post Bridge Schematics using a Letter Box

Just take any of your sim to the front of the house and click the letter box to drop this junky schematics into it. Seconds not more than that for this task.

Step 5  Call the Construction Team on the Phone

Another 5 to 10 minute task. Just take one of your sim in need of talking (2 cloud) and call the crazy Construction Team.

Step  6 Watch Found on TV

Spend some small amount of time on this task. Should be couple of minutes I would say.

Step 7 Drink Herbal Tea

As if very important!! Well if you haven't already got it (nobody needs it otherwise) you have to buy a Tea Pot from the kitchen section of the Home Store.

Step 8 Call The Construction Team on Phone

As if they care, the next task wants you to bother the hardworking construction team of the bridge to tell them what happened in the blockbuster FOUND TV serial. What a bad story line I must say. Just grab the phone and task lasts for few minutes.

Step 9 Bake some Croissants

While the construction workers toil hard to complete the bridge you start celebration preparation and bake some croissants. Not to far now baby

Note: Go to the Cooking stove and instead of Cooking on left chose the option Baking on the right

Step 10 Build the Mysterious Island Bridge

Well finally the time has arrived. Just go to the north of the map and click on build the Bridge. Only issue is you need to have a good amount. That is what we waste most of the time in this quest. So my advice is  START SAVING MONEY FOR THIS FINAL TASK TO BUILD BRIDGE.

Now you may or may not end up with the Sentinal Replica. But that is not important . More important thing is you got a new map on the other side of the bridge uncovered.
