Sims Freeplay- The Pirate and His Goddess

Today I will take you through the new quest- The Pirate and his Goddess.After completing this quest you can start trading with a pirate ship in the mysterious island. You get 7 days to finish the task and get some fashion pack of a pirate. This means its going to be a long long quest. Nightmare i tell you.

Step 1 Visit the mysterious island
Step 2 Call 5 sims to the community center. This is for the emergency meeting.

Step 3 Call a teen to the community center. What is the logic? we need someone to represent the younger demographic of sim town.

Step 4 Ask a Teen to play sea shanty on piano. Why? To set the mood of the meeting. Come on there is an emergency in the town and you ask for some music to set the mood. Waste of 8 precious minutes.

Step 5 Have 5 sims sit in front of the podium. Just click chairs and select attend meeting.

Step 6 Host the town meeting. Somebody is needed to make the speech. You need to select an adult sim and click podium and click host meeting.He is going to do blah blah blah for next 12.5 hours. No one can move out of the meeting. Tough times.

Step 7 Make an Espresso. This 12.5 hours of speech made him thirsty. Although he brought some points about how it will help tourism. Luckily there is a coffee machine in the center, so use it and have some espresso. Quick 30 seconds

Step 8 OBJECT! at the Podium. Time for counter argument. If pirates dig all treasure from our soils, what will our dogs find. Anyhow they hardly find anything. They are the worst things in Sims FreePlay. Only respite is 30 minutes to finish this.

Step 9 Powercord Presentation Unfortunately no one brought the projector. So he has got to use the blackboard present in front of the center. Takes 4 hours.

Step 10 Have a teen look at the pirate. There is a pirate who will popup out of no where at the community center and your teen will get option to look at pirate for 15 minutes.

Step 11 Have a teen talk to pirate. Takes 5-10 seconds

Step 12 Talk to pirate again. Ask him why he is here. Takes a huge time this time around. 8 long hours.

Step 13 Have teen give speech at podium. Takes 6 hours. He is going to ask the crowd to help pirate as he is not familiar with this part of the world.

Step 14 Search Sim Town and find the pirate. He didn't like what the hell he was talked into. So he left in between and now start searching for him. Just go to the park he is hiding there.

Step 15 Call a teen to the park. You have to finish talking to him although he hates you. So bring the teen to talk to pirate again.

Step 16 Hide in public toilet. As the teen feels the pirate might faint looking at him ask him to hide in public toilet at park so as to wait for the right moment. Takes 18.5 Hrs of hiding

Step 17 Ask about journal. Now that teen has practiced in front of mirror and is confident that he can talk to pirate and fool him so he will go out and take a whole 1 day to ask where is journal.

Step 18 Look at pirate's journal. Takes few seconds.

Step 19 Solve the first riddle. A man with a heart of stone , ponders upon his story throne. Surrounded by knights and kings alike the clue is the color he most likes.

Step 20 You can go to Thinking man statue at the park to get the hint which says that the color is found by mixing blue and red. The answer is purple. 8 hours.

Step 21 Joke around with the pirate. It takes 45 minutes.

Step 22 Have a teen talk to a friend about pirate. Pirate kissed the teen and is falling in love with teen. But its going to take 15 hours.

Step 23 Find pirate. Now that teen told about the kiss its time to find solution to Ancient Goddess.He is in stable go directly there.

Step 24 Say Hi to the pirate. I know its taking lot of time but give 5 more minutes. We are nearing the end.

Step 25 Solve the second riddle. This will give the teen a password which will help him find ancient goddess.  Tell the password it takes 12 hours. You can thank me any number of times as I am going to tell you that. The answer to second riddle of Pirate and his Goddess is 'admin'

Step 26 Have teen dance with the pirate. It takes 30 minutes.

Step 27 Ask the pirate why he is upset. 3 minutes of time waste now.

Step 28 Convince the pirate. Pirate wants to leave and teen has to convince him to stop. It takes 10.5 hours. Now you know why they give you 7 days.

Step 29 Tap the ancient goddess on the island. It is located near to the public beach area.

Step 30 Send your sim to the park. Pirate has some surprise from him and that is why calling him there.

Step 31 Say goodbye to the Pirate . Farewell. Going to take last 11 hours of this such a looooong boring quest.

If by chance you finish it in 7 days, you get pirate fashion pack. That is really a very very ugly and small prize for such a huge hard work . Totally worthless.

Sci Fi Shuttle

The Sci fi Shuttle is one of the houses which can be bought using LP's. The cost varies depending on the timing and your position in the game. More the worth of your city costlier it will be to buy this,

As far as the size of the house is concerned much needs to be desired. It has a large living room with a kitchen and a bathroom. And thats about it. Although the stuff installed in the house resonates with the theme of the house and looks really cool but it ought to be bigger.

There is a huge space left out for expansion and this should be utilized to add few rooms.

Lets start with the living room

7. Sleep-O-Matic 9000 - 3 star. It has set of 2 beds which are white and blue going with the overall theme of the sic fi shuttle.
8. Chairtronic 5000- Set of 2 chairs facing the television set and a fancy table between the two.

The room has 3 doors which open and close like a elevator door. It is another cool feature of this home. There is a main door and one each to the bathroom and kitchen


Now talking about the Kitchen

2. Cook Master 5000- 3 Star rating

White and Blue counter.

Not much space left in that kitchen and there is no lighting. Guess you are not supposed to cook at night time :)

Now moving our attention to the bathroom

4. Defcon 6 Toilet - 3 star rating toilet

4 Big trees in the backyard which are equidistant from each other fill rest of the area in the house. If you ask me that is the biggest let down in this otherwise interesting house.

Sims Freeplay-RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARTIFACTS

Complete the quest RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARTIFACTS within time to gain access to the Mysterious Island's Treasure Chest!

You get 24 hours of time to complete this quest.

This quest is available to be completed once you finish the Mysterious Island Quest. 

Step1: Go to the Mysterious Bridge. Just click on the icon and the task is completed.

Step2: Tap on a monument. Any of the 4 monuments which are air water fire or rock shaped on the new extended map.

Step 3:Read the Big Book of Stuff. It can be found on any bookshelf which in turn can be found in the Living room tab of the Home Store.Catch is that you need at least 2 star bookshelf to complete within time, Another thing is as soon as you complete this step immediately start the next steps as not much time will be left after this one. This almost takes 20 out of 24 hours for the quest.

Step4: Turbo Snack from the Fridge. Takes few seconds

Step 5:Search for artifacts in the garbage- Less than 10 minutes.

Step6:Find the third artifact

These are obtained by doing random acts like gardening cooking baking taking shower etc. Just do some quick actions so that you can complete this sooner rather than later. This one is a real random step and may complete within 5 minutes or take much more time to achieve the artifact.

Step 7: Upgrade the Riches of Terra  to level 1 . Since you achieved the third artifact just tap on monument's icon and click Build Now.

This completes the quest which was fairly quick and simple.

Sims FreePlay-September 2014 Update

Yesterday i received an update in sims free play. Unless the update is downloaded it is not going to allow for the game to progress. So downloaded the new game.

Biggest change in the September 2014 update for android is that your sim can work any time of the day but just once a day. What it means is flexible work hours.

Going to work just became a whole lot easier for your Sims! Thanks to a change by Sim Town mayor, your Sims can now go to work any time they want!

Sims can only go to work once a day thug,we wouldn't want Sims getting overworked!

Sims Freeplay- The Mysterious Island Quest

Today I will take you through the different stages of a fairly important quest The Mysterious Island Quest. How to get past the Mysterious Island Quest? Its a 10 step walkthrough to achieve it. Although the prize you unlock is just a statue called Island Sentinal Replica which really useless if you ask me

To complete this quest I got close to 3 days. Time taken in the following tasks take varied amount of times depending upon the level you are on and the star rating of equipments you are using to complete the task. Higher the star rating lesser is the time required to complete.

Step 1 Watch the news. 

There's a story on TV about a new island that's been discovered off the coast of Sim Towm! Check it out! Watch the news on TV.

This is a straightforward task and don't take much of time. Just send any sim in need of entertainment and watch the news.

Step 2 Find the Mysterious Island on Globe

They say the new island is going to be the perfect place to build HOUSEBOATS. How exciting!

Note: The World Globe can be found in the decoration section of Home Store.

Its a ugly huge globe taking up a lot of space in my already small room to block the movement. But you got to do it. Looks something like below in the photo. under Home Store->Furniture-> Decorations

Step 3 Download Schematics on a Computer

Just find a computer and waste some time over the task. I think it will be 10 minutes task  give or take some.

Step 4 Post Bridge Schematics using a Letter Box

Just take any of your sim to the front of the house and click the letter box to drop this junky schematics into it. Seconds not more than that for this task.

Step 5  Call the Construction Team on the Phone

Another 5 to 10 minute task. Just take one of your sim in need of talking (2 cloud) and call the crazy Construction Team.

Step  6 Watch Found on TV

Spend some small amount of time on this task. Should be couple of minutes I would say.

Step 7 Drink Herbal Tea

As if very important!! Well if you haven't already got it (nobody needs it otherwise) you have to buy a Tea Pot from the kitchen section of the Home Store.

Step 8 Call The Construction Team on Phone

As if they care, the next task wants you to bother the hardworking construction team of the bridge to tell them what happened in the blockbuster FOUND TV serial. What a bad story line I must say. Just grab the phone and task lasts for few minutes.

Step 9 Bake some Croissants

While the construction workers toil hard to complete the bridge you start celebration preparation and bake some croissants. Not to far now baby

Note: Go to the Cooking stove and instead of Cooking on left chose the option Baking on the right

Step 10 Build the Mysterious Island Bridge

Well finally the time has arrived. Just go to the north of the map and click on build the Bridge. Only issue is you need to have a good amount. That is what we waste most of the time in this quest. So my advice is  START SAVING MONEY FOR THIS FINAL TASK TO BUILD BRIDGE.

Now you may or may not end up with the Sentinal Replica. But that is not important . More important thing is you got a new map on the other side of the bridge uncovered.
